The Art of Making Hidden Material Properties Visible
Polymers are an integral part of our daily lives. The variety of their macroscopic properties enables important functions in a wide range of products. But what lies beneath the features of these materials? An amazingly diverse chemistry that is invisible to the naked eye! Polymer materials are not simply “plastics”. A diverse toolset of chemical analytics and microscopic instruments enables our laboratory to detect minute differences in composition and to explain the variations in macroscopic physical properties they cause.
To solve these tasks there is an extensive infrastracture available at the MNT.
