Der MPC555 ist ein schneller 32-Bit Mikroprozessor der Firma Freescale. Durch die integrierte [[wpde>Gleitkommaeinheit]] eignet er sich auch für komplexe Algorithmen und somit für viele Aufgabengebiete.

Der [[wpde>PowerPC | PowerPC-kompatible]] Kern und die grosse Anzahl integrierter Peripherie bietet eine ausgezeichnete Balance zwischen Geschwindigkeit und Funktionalität.
